Scisters Salon in La Mesa calls itself San Diego's first zero waste salon. Founded in 2010 by Melissa Parker and Easton Bajsec, it uses and sells toxin-free beauty products, many in bulk, along with goods for low-waste living, and it chooses products with easily recognized ingredients.
