Art Plus Science Salons opened its first salon in an Evanston storefront in 1989 and also has a Logan Square location. Every stylist, colorist and barber finishes the company's advanced apprenticeship before taking clients, and the team stresses thorough consultations. In 2016 it founded Hair Cares NFP to support underserved people in the community.
